Our furniture is hand finished in solid woods such as light oak, acacia, walnut and other dark woods. These are some of the finest woods around, and have been used by artisans for centuries. They have a lasting superiority and a characteristic look that suits both the modern or traditional home.

 

At Artisan all our furniture collections feature only fully assembled bedsides, chests and cabinets. Look closer at the detail and you will discover features that are testimony to properly made furniture such as dovetail joints, solid wood drawer bases and backs and a sturdiness of construction you just know will last the test of time.

 

There’s nothing quite like a beautiful piece of wood.  The way it looks, it feels, it smells.  Wood is totally natural, and will last for generations.  Over time the character gets richer, the feel gets softer; it becomes part of your everyday life. Walnut

'Black' walnut is a hard, strong wood whose predominantly dark grain can incorporate subtle yellow and pink tones.

 

 

European Oak

Native to certain areas of Europe, it has a heavily textured surface and will turn golden brown over time.

 

 

American Oak

Native to eastern Canada and North America, it has enormous character, and a strong grain.
